The Response: More than Lesbian

We are constantly defined and put into categories that make our lesbianism comfortable for society. The woman identified woman is about loving women in all ways – this is not a sexual definition, it is beyond sexual.

No one can exist on a level higher than me,

I am sublime.

My radius makes up the entirety of our solar system,

Yet you cannot see me.

I am constantly beaten down

Because others fear my power.

And when I love another like me,

My power is infinitely greater.

I exist on a plane that is self-described.

Not for the sake of those who seek to control me.

If my power is misused or forgotten,

I can obliterate nations.

And when I love another like me,

From her head down to her toes,

I am enlightened to a status unimaginable,

An energy no one has even heard of.

A sort of state that is beyond my control.

I am a woman identified woman.
